Arts & Crafts Program
Since opening its doors in August 1996, the Haynes Library has offered Saturday morning arts and crafts projects for our young people. This program spearheaded by Donna Allen (Friends of the Library committee member) and Annie Griffin ( a local resident of Governors Harbour ), includes painting, mobile building, decorations for holidy events, puppet making, paper mache, masks and many more fun and educational activities. The children help set up as well as clean up after the project which is then followed by a snack, cold drink and story time. Please join us as a volunteer or bring a young person along to enjoy our library. Everyone is welcome!
